Caroline S. Henne - Marketing & Sustainability Consultant - has over 15 years of fashion & luxury marketing experience. She started her career in the tv industry at Germany's biggest private broadcaster, but soon discovered her passion for the digital space. Kickstarting her own digital transformation at Lycos Europe in London, she soon executed those digital transformations for large corporations across the globe as a consultant on marketing mix optimisation, mostly for luxury clients, before arriving at her last corporate destination, Google UK, where she left her role as Sector Lead Luxury to work more independently - first as interim CMO for award-winning luxury marketplace Wolf & Badger, now dedicating 100% of her time to growing independent, sustainable brands. Caroline is a spokes-person for the sustainability movement in fashion, design & beauty. She holds a Bachelor of International Management for Media and is a regular speaker at events across the globe, be it IAB, LVHM, Interbrand Conferences or other events. Caroline is also an Angel investor in multiple start-up business, from sustainable fashion to technology and experiences.
Sophie Dunster is the London based founder and designer of Gung Ho, and the true embodiment of what it means to be Gung Ho. Having been raised living a low carbon lifestyle, it’s not surprising that sustainability has been fairly drummed into her over the years. Being unable to follow in her father’s footsteps as a zero carbon architect (science isn’t a strong point), Sophie turned to art for her way to save the world. And when she discovered she could put her drawings on clothes… well that was the start of Gung Ho.
Tim has nearly 15 years' experience producing fashion as well as photography/film content across various channels. In Australia, his home turf, he was responsible for creative for some of Australia’s largest retail companies before leading an international fashion label and brand agency. In the UK, he has built a thriving business as Head of Studios for a global luxury fashion retailer and online marketplace, as well as in his role as co-founder of Altiir. Having seen the creative and fashion industries from many angles, he balances creativity, sustainability and productivity in business.
Martine Nieuwenhuis is a Creative Business Development and Marketing Consultant. She advises organisations to thrive in the future by developing sustainable business strategies that bring benefits for people, for the planet and for profit. She is also co-founder of Good Brand Guru, a non-profit association that brings together independent experts, pioneering brands and retailers all seeking to make the fashion retail industry more social and environmentally sustainable.
Tanja Klein lives and works in Basel. Together with a small team she designs and develops her kleinbasel collection at her atelier. The design of Tanja Klein is based on an universal design understanding, classical hand craft and her love for the detail. For the production Tanja Klein places high priority in a long standing cooperation with small manufactures in Switzerland and Europe. The entire leather bag collection of kleinbasel is produced to 100% in Switzerland. The materials come from selected Swiss and European suppliers. While selecting the materials a high requirement of functionality and quality of the product is kept foremost in mind. Traditional craft, quality and style are kleinbasel.
